About The Position
Kingwood Service Center is currently seeking to fill positions for General Service Technicians in Kingwood, TX location. We are looking for individuals who are honest, dedicated, and committed to excellent customer service.
The role of the General Service Technician is an entry-level position focused on routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations. This position will benefit from the mentorship of an experienced automotive technician to guide you through the processes. As a General Service Technician, you are a key part of upholding the integrity and dependability of Kingwood Service Center. The ideal candidate will have some background in automotive repair, a keen ability to learn quickly, follow directions precisely, and adhere to our shop's standards. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to honesty and fairness are crucial attributes for success in this role.
General Service Technician
Salary: $46,000 - $56,000, depending on skills and experience
- Requires 2+ years working in the automotive industry, in similar capacity
- Requires Texas Automotive Inspector license
Description:
- Complete multi-point automotive inspections and make maintenance recommendations
- Complete oil and filter changes, as needed
- Replace, balance, and rotate tires
- Administer fluid flushes
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand, sit, or crouch in various positions
Shop Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday; closed weekends
